Job Description

The Lead Medical Assistant Certified performs those duties requested by the health care provider that are designated in RCW 18.360, Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of Physician or Mid-Level Provider. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties directed by the Clinic Director. The Lead Certified Medical Assistant oversees daily operations of the Medical Assistant team, including processes, procedures, and responsibilities within their assigned area of care, to promote efficient clinical workflow to ensure practice within scope.
QUALIFICATIONS
Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be eligible for Medical Assistant Certification in State of Washington. Must obtain Medical Assistant Certification. Must obtain BLS within six months of employment. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in al l units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Electronic Medical Records Database software, Internet software, and Inventory software. Medical Assistant Certified Licensure issued by the State of Washington.
Salary Range :
$25.56-$40.85
Shift:
