Job Overview Part-Time Medical Assistant Nordhavn Plastic Surgery | Gig Harbor, WA Nordhavn Plastic Surgery is a boutique plastic surgery and aesthetic practice dedicated to thoughtful, patient-centered care and natural-looking results. We are seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support our clinical team and help create a calm, efficient, and welcoming experience for every patient. This role is ideal for a Medical Assistant who enjoys working in a refined, fast-growing environment and takes pride in attention to detail, patient comfort, and teamwork. Position Summary The Medical Assistant will play a key role in daily clinical operations, supporting patient flow from rooming through procedures. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking standardized clinical photographs, assisting with minor in-office procedures, and triaging patient needs under the direction of the provider. Key Responsibilities Greet and room patients , obtain vital signs, and prepare exam rooms Take standardized pre- and post-procedure photographs following clinic protocols Triage patient concerns and communicate efficiently with the provider and front desk Assist the surgeon with minor in-office procedures and treatments Prepare and turn over procedure rooms, maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety at all times Accurately document clinical information in the medical record Support smooth patient flow and a positive clinic experience Qualifications Current Medical Assistant certification (Washington State) Prior experience in a clinical setting; aesthetics or surgical experience preferred Comfortable working directly with patients in a procedural environment Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a small, collaborative team Experience with clinical photography is a plus (training provided if needed) Schedule & Compensation Part-time position (approximately 20-24 hours per week) Predictable, set clinic days Competitive hourly pay based on experience This role may become a full-time position as the business expands.
