Overview:
As a Clinical Medical Assistant in our busy pediatric clinic, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children of all ages. You'll collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to provide efficient, compassionate, and patient-centered services. Responsibilities:
Greet and assist pediatric patients and their families, ensuring a welcoming and comforting experience Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and medical histories accurately and efficiently Prepare patients for exams and procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and well-informed Assist healthcare providers during clinical exams, diagnostic procedures, and treatments Administer vaccinations, medications, or treatments as directed, adhering strictly to safety protocols Document patient information thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system Maintain clinic cleanliness, sterilize medical equipment, and ensure clinical supplies are stocked and organized Adhere to infection control policies and safety standards at all times Assist with specimen collection, processing, and lab procedures as needed Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and insurance documentation
Required Skills:
Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) license valid in Washington state, with national certification (e.g., CMA, RMA, CCMA) Prior experience in a pediatric clinical setting preferred, with a demonstrated understanding of pediatric-specific assessments and procedures Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ideally EPIC experience Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and reassure young patients and their families Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols in a clinical setting Nice to
Have Skills:

experience Prior experience working in a fast-paced pediatric clinic Bilingual skills to assist diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program strongly preferred Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in pediatrics Active Washington Medical Assistant license with both licensure in hand and certification
Other Requirements:
