The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of patient care, medical procedures, and administrative support within diverse clinical settings. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multi-faceted clinic. The position emphasizes delivering exceptional patient service while supporting clinical workflows through proficient use of EHR systems and medical terminology. Duties Perform patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs accurately Assist healthcare providers with procedures such as medication administration, and basic life support interventions Support patient care activities across outpatient settings such as medication prior authorizations/referrals/and medical record requests Manage documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems with attention to detail and compliance with privacy regulations Conduct ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures to ensure accurate billing and recordkeeping Prepare examination rooms and assist with specimen collection, dressing changes, and other clinical tasks Provide excellent patient service by addressing patient inquiries, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout visits Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in high-acuity environments Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in accordance with safety standards Requirements Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program Proven experience in hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, urgent care, or similar healthcare settings Knowledge of family medicine and HRT specialties preferred Proficiency in EHR systems and familiarity with medical terminology and physiology concepts Ability to perform vital signs assessment, intake procedures, ICD coding, and medication administration Experience working in inpatient family practice centers, and experience with working at outpatient centers is a plus Strong patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care delivery Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and clinical tasks Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced healthcare team across diverse specialties This position is integral to providing high-quality patient care while supporting the operational needs of our healthcare facilities. Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
