We are a rapidly growing private medical office looking for you! We offer a great opportunity for a mature, reliable Assistant with excellent customer service skills in a podiatric office. We are a private podiatric group seeking an Assistant to become a part of our team! We provide excellent patient care so it is important for us to have a team of hard working professionals who enjoy the satisfaction that comes from knowing you make a difference every day! Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Use of electronic medical record software, strong computer and written skills required. Must commit to work - M-Th, occasional Fridays, average of 15-30 hours per week to start. Our expansion offers an expansion of hours and benefits as well. The successful candidate must be congenial and a team player with excellent communication skills. Strong candidates without Assistant experience will be considered for practice sponsored WA-DOH Registration. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A sample listing of duties below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability obtained. Assist patient in preparing for exam or procedure Obtain and document vital signs Interview patient to obtain patient chief complaint, histories, medications, allergies and enter these into the EMR Maintain, clean and stock exam rooms Keep all supply/equipment, trays/kits fully stocked at all times Clean, package and autoclave medical instruments Call patients with provider directed instructions and document in EMR Develop/maintain familiarity with all podiatric terminology Assist physicians with procedures Rotate to other shifts as needed Other duties and tasks as assigned
