We are currently seeking a dependable, mature, and motivated Medical Assistant who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and understands the importance of reliability in patient care. While experience in allergy or specialty medicine is a plus, we are willing to train and invest in the right candidate. What We're Looking For This role is ideal for someone who: Shows up consistently, on time, and ready to work Communicates professionally and works well with others Maintains a positive attitude, even in a fast-paced environment Is coachable, motivated, and eager to learn new skills Takes initiative and works independently when needed Understands that dependability and accountability directly impact patient care Wants to grow long-term within a specialty practice Key Responsibilities Room patients promptly and accurately Prepare patients for provider evaluations and assist with office procedures Administer allergy skin testing, immunotherapy injections, and biologic therapies per protocol Perform and assist with diagnostic testing, including spirometry and peak flow testing Accurately document clinical information in the electronic health record (EHR) Monitor patients during and after procedures and escalate concerns appropriately Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms Follow all clinical protocols, safety standards, and infection-control procedures Collaborate effectively with providers, nursing staff, and front office teams to maintain efficient patient flow Additional Preferred Skills Knowledge of prior authorization processes, specialty medication workflows, and insurance verification preferred Experience using CoverMyMeds or similar prior authorization platforms is a plus Familiarity with biologic medication coordination and specialty pharmacy communication preferred Ability to communicate professionally with insurance companies, pharmacies, providers, and patients regarding medication approvals and treatment coordination Strong computer skills and comfort navigating electronic health records (EHR), online portals, and clinical documentation systems Qualifications Current Washington State Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (MA-R) required, or ability to meet Washington State requirements for registration/certification upon hire Previous experience in allergy, asthma, immunology, pediatrics, or specialty medicine is preferred but not required We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, reliability, motivation, and a strong willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced clinical environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, dependable, and patient-focused mindset Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role and to support quality patient care What Success Looks Like in This Role Patients feel welcomed, prepared, and cared for Providers are supported proactively and efficiently Documentation is accurate and completed in real time Clinic flow remains smooth, organized, and team-oriented You continuously learn, improve, and contribute positively to the team culture Why Join Our Team?
