This advanced CMA position is for experienced MA's looking to enhance their skills and challenge themselves. This includes, but not limited to interviewing patients, providing direct patient care, assist Physician as needed with in office medical procedures, participates, scribes and concludes patient visits and maintains patient electronic medical record. This position requires working with others in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Plastic Surgery Northwest is growing and looking for a full time Certified Medical Assistant to add to our clinical staff team. This team supports the surgeons and PA-Cs in daily clinic and direct patient care for all surgical patients. Plastic Surgery Northwest (PSNW), a comprehensive Plastic Surgery Center office and Ambulatory Surgery Center, offers a diverse array of services in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. PSNW strives to create a functional, friendly, and efficient environment so that we may provide excellent service to all our patients. We focus on high-quality, technically advanced procedures and perform them in the most appropriate setting; providing our patients with the highest level of safety and comfort. Our practice expands the breadth of plastic surgery options available in Spokane and its surrounding areas; improving the depth of support available to patients and medical centers in this region. To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. Minimum of two years medical assisting experience Have a valid state and national Medical Assistant Certification Have current BLS Have a valid Driver's License Experience in scribing •PSNW offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees and competitive wages. •Office is currently open Monday to Friday. This position will be four 10 hour shifts and the days will be determined by the manager after training period.
