Monday-Friday Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and highly organized Medical Assistant to join our team in a dedicated memory care setting . This individual will play an important role in supporting the health, comfort, and well-being of residents. The ideal candidate combines strong clinical support skills with patience, emotional intelligence, and a deep respect for older adults. In this role, you will work closely with nursing staff, providers, caregivers, and families to help ensure residents receive attentive, high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment. Essential Responsibilities Provide clinical support to licensed nurses and healthcare providers in the delivery of resident care Obtain and accurately document vital signs, weights, health observations, and other resident information Assist with routine clinical tasks, assessments, and medical visits as directed Observe residents for changes in physical condition, behavior, mood, or cognition and report concerns promptly Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards Support medication-related processes in compliance with community procedures and applicable regulations Prepare exam or treatment areas and maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment Communicate professionally and effectively with residents, families, providers, and interdisciplinary team members Promote resident dignity, comfort, and emotional well-being through calm, respectful, person-centered interactions Follow infection control, safety, emergency response, and compliance protocols at all times Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred Current Medical Assistant certification preferred, as applicable by state requirements CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire Previous experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, geriatrics, dementia care, or memory care strongly preferred Strong clinical observation and documentation skills Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate in a fast-paced care environment Commitment to resident-centered care and team collaboration
