Responsibilities:

Accurately document patient histories, physical exams, and treatment plans Assist healthcare professionals with intake processes, including vital signs and medical history Utilize electronic medical records systems to update patient records Facilitate efficient workflow of patient visits and other tasks as assigned Educate patients on eye care and medications Operate specialized equipment to perform screenings and testings, such as measuring visual acuity and eye pressures Provide administrative support by answering patient questions and assisting with scheduling as needed Qualifications Proficient with computers and excellent communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic with a high patient volume High level of attention to detail Proven problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting Familiarity with clinic operations and procedures related to outpatient services is beneficial Previous experience and understanding of medical terminology is preferred; however, we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate. To cover time off and illness, you may be asked to travel to our other offices in Eagle River and Park Falls. Pay/benefits are contingent on experience and full-time or part-time status.
