Experienced Medical Assistant - Adult Care

We are a busy multi-specialty private practice with 3 providers looking to add a strong, task-oriented team player to our team. The perfect candidate will be a Certified Medical Assistant and have at least 1 years' experience in Adult Primary Care. The requirements for the job are as follows: Must be a Certified Medical Assistant with a current certification. Must be familiar with EHR systems and charting. (Greenway Primesuite preferred but not required) Should be familiar with prepping and administering vaccines and injections. Should be familiar with CLIA Waived tests such as running A1C machine, PT/INR analyzer, and administering viral swabs and processing them. Must be able to stand for at least 2 hours at a time and walk at least 1 mile continuously. Experience with referrals and prior authorizations preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are desired. Strong working knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to multitask and adapt to change on a daily basis are necessary. Dependability and willingness to work together for the best experience for our patients are qualities we desire. We offer 8.5 paid holidays per year. New Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve (Half Day) and Christmas Day. Employees qualify for these after successfully completing 6months of employment.
