  • The work schedule will be Monday
  • Friday with hours anywhere between 6am
  • 6:30pm EST / 5am
  • 5:30pm CST
  • As part of the Clinic Coding Teamm, you will work in collaboration with the other Certified Medical Coders (CPC), completing all aspects of coding patient office visits and office procedures.
Coding of office visits and including office procedures using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes. Assignment of modifiers to procedures. Works closely with physicians and other providers/office staff regarding completeness of office notes and procedure reports to ensure accurate coding. Serves as a resource and subject matter expert and as a coding consultant to providers. Identifies discrepancies, potential quality of care, and billing issues. Timely entry of office charges. Works closely with other members of the coding/billing team as well as the other departments within the CBO team. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education Required:
High school graduate or equivalent
Experience Required:
Minimum of 1 year of Orthopedic Clinic coding experience Professional license or certification requirements: CPC certification or equivalent Proficient in MS Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Preferred Skills:
E&M Coding experience is strongly preferred Ability to deal with responsibility with confidential matters Ability to work in a multi-task, high-stress environment USD $19.86/Hr. USD $27.00/Hr.
