The Coder is responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning ICD-10-CM and CPT codes to Inpatient and/or Outpatient records.

Key Responsibilities include:

Post charges and level Emergency Room visits. Abstract medical, demographic and other information from the medical record and enter data into hospital wide information system Meet coding standards and daily productivity.
