Coder Analyst II

The Coder II must accurately code and abstract diagnoses and procedures occurring during the patient's episode of care, in a timely manner, in order for the facility to receive proper reimbursement.

Requirements:

Associates Degree strongly preferred. One year of direct position related experience required.

Experience required as follows:

Coding in hospital, clinic or physician office. Basic computer knowledge required with evidence of Windows training and/or experience with demonstrated competency. Maintenance of certification through continuing education is required. Must be skilled in the application of coding guidelines set up by various third party payors.
