Job Overview:

Full-time Internist needed for a GME Continuity Clinic in Southeast Alabama.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive Internal Medicine services to patients in the Graduate Medical Education Continuity Clinic. Supervise and mentor residents and medical students in clinical settings, fostering their professional development. Conduct patient assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans. Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care. Participate in educational activities, including lectures, case discussions, and scholarly pursuits. Stay current on evidence-based practices and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge. Average 13-16 New residents per year.

Qualifications:

Medical degree from an accredited medical school. Board certification in Internal Medicine Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Alabama. Previous experience in Graduate Medical Education preferred. Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring medical professionals. Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to healthcare.
