Job Description

Chief Medical Officer - Montgomery, AL (Sign on ℜlocation Available)

Non-profit, community-based clinic
Schedule:
Monday -
Friday Combination of Clinical and Administrative Duties Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all medical staff including Physicians, CRNPs, PAs, RNs, MAs, Dentists, Dental Hygienists and oversight of CRNP and PA collaboration. Participate in Governing Board and Executive Team meetings to report on clinical outcomes and provider performance. Establish clinical protocols, standards of care, and quality assurance systems. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements (e.g., Joint Commission). Address provider-related complaints and implement corrective action plans as needed. Participate in budgeting, financial decision-making, and strategic planning processes. Coordinate training, continuing education, and clinical supervision for all provider staff. Represent the organization in state/local medical societies and relevant associations.
Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible; must hold a valid Alabama medical license. Minimum 10 years of medical practice experience; 3-5 years in clinical leadership preferred. Eligible for hospital privileges and professional malpractice coverage.
