gov) Works closely with allied health professionals (i.e., Community Health Nurses, Social Workers, Health Educors, Contract Health, and other medical services specialists, etc.) to utilize and coordine the services of other health care professionals in the management of the pient's medical, psychological and social problems. Assists in assuring th the requirements of Joint Commission and EMTALA Regulions are met. Maintains contact with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Human Resources (HR) on the referral of available medical officer candides. Prepares written plans, recruitment/retention plans, marketing plans, and budget guidelines for operion of an approprie recruitment program. Establishing, maintaining, and evaluing a comprehensive medical recruitment and retention program utilizing current marketing techniques to retain existing staff while tracting qualified new medical officer 3 personnel to provide clinical services. Assists in organizing and overseeing departmental work scheduling, which includes, but is not limited to daily clinic or opering assignments, field clinic assignments, monthly call schedule, etc. Assist in organizing, evaluing and planning all departmental programs and reports to administrion on a monthly basis. Background Investigion :

Degree:
Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteophic Medicine or equivalent from a school in the United Stes or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Educion of the American Medical Associion; Associion of American Medical Colleges; Liaison Committee on Medical Educion; Commission on Osteophic College Accredition of the American Osteophic Associion, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Educion the time the degree was obtained. Foreign Medical School:
A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school must provide educion and medical knowledge equivalent to accredited schools in the United Stes. Evidence of equivalency to accredited schools in the United Stes is demonstred by permanent certificion by the Educional Commission for Foreign Medical Gradues, a fifth phway certifice for Americans who completed premedical educion in the United Stes and gradue educion in a foreign country, or successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examinion.
Licensure:
For all grade levels and positions, applicants must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registrion as a Physician from a Ste, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United Stes.
Gradue Training:
Subsequent to obtaining a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteophic Medicine degree, a candide must have had least 1 year of supervised experience providing direct service in a clinical setting, i.e., a 1-year internship or the first year of a residency program in a hospital or an institution accredited for such training. For purposes of this standard, gradue training programs include only those internship, residency, and fellowship programs th are approved by accrediting bodies recognized within the United Stes or Canada. Descriptions of such programs are described below. An internship program involves broadly based clinical practice in which physicians acquire experience in treing a variety of medical problems under supervision (e.g., internal medicine, surgery, general practice, obstetrics-gynecology, and pedirics). Such programs are in hospitals or other institutions accredited for internship training by a recognized body of the Accredition Council for Gradue Medical Educion (ACGME) . A residency program involves training in a specialized field of medicine in a hospital or an institution accredited for training in the specialty by a recognized body of the American Medical Associion, (AMA) or Accredition Council for Gradue Medical Educion (ACGME). A fellowship program involves advanced training (beyond residency training) in a given medical specialty in either a clinical or research setting in a hospital or an institution accredited in the United Stes for such training.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, GS-15
Completed 5 years of residency training in the specialty of the position to be filled or equivalent experience and training ( i.e., work in the specialty area after residency). AND one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the prive or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Examples include: Experience with Administrion clinical services management, Conflict management, Managing Human Resources for recruitment/placement/retention, and coordine the day-to-day clinical operions of outpient, inpient, and ambulory care medical services; Management of work schedules for subordine staff and approval of leave requests along with performance evaluions.
