Job Description

  • Job Summary and Responsibilities
  • As our Division Chief, you will be a central figure providing strategic leadership and comprehensive oversight for all clinical, academic, and administrative functions within your designated division, ensuring excellence in patient care, research, and education.
You will play a vital role in advancing the mission of your department and institution, fostering innovation, and recruiting top talent. Every day, you will expertly manage physician faculty, advanced practice providers, and staff, collaboratively developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize clinical services, research programs, educational initiatives, and financial performance. You will also oversee regulatory compliance, quality metrics, and the cultivation of strong intra- and inter-departmental relationships, continuously driving innovation and achieving aggressive goals while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and academic rigor. To be successful in this role, you will combine extensive clinical expertise in your specialty, a proven track record of leadership in an academic medical center or complex healthcare system, and exceptional communication and mentorship skills. You will demonstrate a strategic mindset for growth and development, strong financial acumen, a deep commitment to faculty development and diversity, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment dedicated to advancing medical knowledge and delivering outstanding patient outcomes. + Participates in all teaching conferences, research and academic activities of the specific department teaching program. + Provides teaching for residents, students, and hospital staff related to specific department including elective rotations, lectures and in services. + Provides inpatient and outpatient care and services. + Working with operational management, coordinates care, quality program, problem resolution, development of policies and financial outcomes of defined area.
