Job Description
Northwest Healthcare is seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians to join its growing emergency medicine programs across multiple facilities in the Tucson, Arizona region. This is a unique opportunity to practice across a diverse system of hospital-based and free-standing emergency departments, offering a broad clinical experience, strong system support, and flexible scheduling across multiple practice settings. AtNorthwest Medical Center, you'll be part of Community Health Systems, a national network of regional hospitals with a shared mission to deliver high-quality care where it's needed most — close to home. - Tucson (300-bed acute care hospital) Northwest Medical Center at Sahuarita (18-bed neighborhood hospital) Northwest Emergency Center
- Marana (Free-standing ED) Northwest Emergency Center

- Tucson Annual ED volume: ~51,100 visits 1.8-2 patients per hour 45 hours of physician coverage daily 24 hours of APC coverage daily ABEM-certified physicians required Northwest Medical Center at Sahuarita Annual ED volume: ~22,630 visits 1.8 patients per hour 27 hours of physician coverage daily 10 hours of PA coverage daily Northwest Emergency Center
