Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Medical Records Director to lead our medical records department. In this vital role, you will oversee the management, accuracy, and security of all patient medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and facilitating seamless information flow across clinical teams. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our health information systems and supporting high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Supervise the daily operations of the medical records department, ensuring efficient processing and management of patient files Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential medical records in accordance with legal and regulatory standards Oversee the use of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to ensure data accuracy, security, and accessibility Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate timely documentation and retrieval of medical information Implement policies and procedures for recordkeeping, data privacy, and compliance with healthcare laws such as HIPAA Conduct regular audits of medical records to ensure quality control and adherence to standards Train and mentor staff on best practices for managing medical records and using EHR systems Qualifications Proven experience in medical office administration or healthcare record management Strong knowledge of EHR systems and healthcare information technology Familiarity with medical terminology, coding, and documentation standards Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining confidentiality and compliance Prior experience in a healthcare setting involving medical records management is highly preferred Join us in making a difference by ensuring our patients' health information is handled with care, precision, and professionalism.
