The Long Beach VA Healthcare System is hiring for a full-time Acute Rehabilitation Unit Medical Director.

The VA Long Beach Healthcare System is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Director to join our CARF-accredited Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU).

Our ARU focuses on therapeutic excellence in a vibrant, supportive environment. We foster a culture of empathy and collaboration, working alongside exceptional professionals from Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Kinesiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, Nursing, and more. Together, we empower Veterans on their journey to their functional recovery. As the ARU Medical Director, you will: Champion an interdisciplinary team to provide high-level patient-centered care. Guide your team in delivering world-class medical rehabilitation to Veterans with a variety of conditions. Serve as a trusted consultant to fellow clinicians, ensuring seamless coordination across services. Educate and mentor residents, fellows, and staff, making a lasting impact on future innovators in rehabilitation medicine. Take part in program strategy, quality assurance, and system-wide performance improvement
