Within the Medical Staff department—home to medical staff services, credentialing operations, privileging workflows, and a high-functioning credential verification process—the Manager of Credentialing will steward end-to-end credentialing and privileging, initial appointment and reappointment, OPPE/FPPE, bylaws and policy optimization, and survey readiness aligned with Joint Commission, CMS, and NCQA standards; for the second consecutive year, this hospital has been named one of America's 50 Best Hospitals (2024-2025), placing it in the top 1% of hospitals in the U.S. for clinical outcomes, underscoring a strong platform for the Manager of Medical Staff Credentialing to advance quality, safety, and provider experience.
Reporting to a Director of Medical Staff Services or the Chief Medical Officer, the Supervisor of Credentialing will lead a skilled team of coordinators and analysts with robust administrative support, partner closely with friendly nurses and a diverse interprofessional group of physicians, APPs, quality, risk, and IT, and own key responsibilities such as NPDB/OIG/DEA/primary-source verification, credentials and privileging committee governance, MEC and Board preparation, EHR/e-credentialing optimization, policy and audit cadence, performance dashboards, and timely turnaround that delights stakeholders and strengthens access to care.
