Oversee the implementation and utilization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate medical records management and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Develop and monitor clinical protocols aligned with healthcare management principles, NCQA standards, FDA regulations, and hospital policies. Manage utilization review processes, including managed care negotiations, medical necessity determinations, and adherence to healthcare policies. Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance psychiatric treatments, incorporating new findings into practice while ensuring compliance with research protocols. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care outcomes, integrating physiology and anatomy knowledge into treatment strategies. Oversee budgeting processes related to clinical operations, resource allocation, and staff scheduling to optimize efficiency without compromising quality. Requirements Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification in Psychiatry; licensed or eligible for licensure in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in hospital settings or outpatient clinics with a focus on psychiatric care. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in clinical environments; ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and clinical development processes. Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems, and healthcare management software tools. Comprehensive understanding of managed care practices, utilization management, NCQA standards, HIPAA regulations, FDA guidelines related to pharmaceuticals and devices. Experience in clinical research activities related to psychiatry or mental health is highly desirable. Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
