The Medical Director is responsible for advancing cultural, strategic, operational and clinical alignment. They also responsible to provide clinical and managerial health care leadership, collaboratively problem-solve, communicate and strategically plan the development of the medical staff and clinic. The Medical Director is expected to confirm compliance of medical staff with all state and federal requirements as well as drive key quality initiatives The Medical Director interacts with the corresponding Practice Managers and Directors the medical group Regional Medical Director, Regional Operations Director and, when applicable the facility administration. The Medical Director should lead through the use of High Reliability principles and tools while facilitating bi-directional communication from front-line staff, physicians and APPs to medical group leadership and vice versa. Job Requirements In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Doctorate (MD or DO) in Medicine required Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required Strong previous performance of providing quality and efficiency in patient care and operations. Strong track record of recruitment, retention of talent and leadership development. Experience with leading and redirecting talent as needed. Strong ability to lead in a changing environment.
