This program supports licensed healthcare professionals across the state by providing education, monitoring, and recovery resources related to behavioral health, physical health conditions, and substance use. The organization plays a critical role in helping providers safely return to practice while protecting patient safety and promoting long-term wellness. This is a non-clinical leadership role focused on case oversight, program management, and collaboration rather than direct patient care. The Medical Director will work with a small, collaborative team that includes an RN, therapists, and a case manager who supports day-to-day operations. The role involves reviewing cases, providing clinical guidance, supporting program integrity, and engaging in outreach efforts. The schedule offers excellent work-life balance with a 4-day, 32-hour workweek as the standard, along with flexibility in daily hours. There is also an option for a 5-day, 40-hour schedule with a hybrid component. No call is required , and evenings and weekends are fully protected. This opportunity is ideal for a physician looking to step into a meaningful, lower-stress role while still making a significant impact on the healthcare community.
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Background or interest in Addiction Medicine or Psychiatry preferred Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Interest in a non-clinical, leadership-focused role
Salary and Benefits:
Base salary starting at $200,000+ Year-end bonus potential Flexible scheduling (4-day or 5-day options) No call responsibilities 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance Malpractice insurance covered 403(b) with employer match (up to 5%) 160 hours of PTO 14 paid holidays
CME:
