Job Description

ADOM Academy / Center for Ultrasound Research & Education (CURE) Danbury, CT | Full-Time or Part Time Job Summary ADOM Academy is seeking a highly organized, mission-driven Associate Program Director to support the leadership, administration, and continuous improvement of our Diagnostic Medical Sonography educational programs. The Associate Program Director works closely with the Program Director to ensure excellence in student education, faculty development, accreditation compliance, curriculum implementation, clinical education, and overall program operations. This position serves as a key leadership role within the institution and acts on behalf of the Program Director when needed. Responsibilities Assist in the administration and daily operation of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Support curriculum development, implementation, assessment, and revision. Monitor student progress, academic performance, attendance, and retention initiatives. Participate in student advising, mentoring, and professional development activities. Assist with faculty recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and evaluations. Coordinate clinical education activities and maintain relationships with externship partners. Support accreditation activities, self-studies, annual reports, and regulatory compliance requirements. Collaborate with admissions, student services, and administrative teams to support enrollment and student success. Analyze program outcomes and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives. Assist in developing policies, procedures, and educational standards. Participate in strategic planning and program growth initiatives. Represent the program at meetings, conferences, community events, and professional organizations. Serve as Acting Program Director during the Program Director's absence when delegated. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in ultrasound, healthcare education, or program administration. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience working with students, faculty, and healthcare professionals. Proficiency with learning management systems, Microsoft Office, and educational technology. Preferred
ARDMS, ARRT
(S), CCI, or equivalent credential. Master's degree in Education, Healthcare Administration, Leadership, or related field. Experience with accreditation processes (CAAHEP, ABHES, or similar). Teaching and curriculum development experience. Experience supervising faculty, staff, or clinical education programs. Pay:
$104,000.00 - $135,200.00 per year
