In this pivotal role, you will oversee medical management strategies, uphold compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a culture of clinical excellence. Your leadership will drive innovative practices, support multidisciplinary teams, and maintain the highest standards aligned with industry best practices. Responsibilities Provide strategic direction for clinical programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards such as NCQA and HIPAA. Oversee medical management activities including utilization review, case management, and quality assurance processes to optimize patient outcomes. Lead multidisciplinary teams by supervising physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to promote a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including FDA guidelines, HIPAA, and hospital accreditation standards. Develop and implement policies related to medical records management, EHR systems, and clinical documentation to enhance accuracy and accessibility. Collaborate with research teams to support clinical research initiatives, ensuring adherence to research protocols and ethical standards. Manage budgets related to clinical operations, resource allocation, and staff development while maintaining cost-effective practices. Experience Proven experience in healthcare management or medical leadership roles within hospital or managed care settings. Extensive knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems, and clinical development processes. Demonstrated expertise in managed care principles, utilization management, and healthcare policy compliance. Strong background in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for effective clinical oversight. Supervising experience with a track record of leading multidisciplinary teams towards achieving high-quality patient care standards. Familiarity with FDA regulations governing clinical trials and medical product safety is preferred. Exceptional project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
