8:00AM-4:30PM, Mon-Fri (Light Night and Weekend Call) Position Summary The Jackson Medical Group is a rapidly growing, multi-specialty network of physicians and specialists serving patients in a variety of specialty care centers across Miami-Dade County. As part of the continued expansion of the Jackson Health System, the Ambulatory Services Division is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to practice at our North Dade location in the Causeway Square Mall. This is a supported practice building opportunity where you'll have the resources to develop your own patient panel. Provides and maintains JHS Standards towards continuous, intensive direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and health care services to JHS outpatients. Primary Care with average daily patient volume of 18 - 20. Patient 18+ years of age Light night and weekend call requirements. Experience Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience. License/Certification Valid Florida Medical License. DEA and board certification or eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine are required. Other specialty certifications related to specialty are a plus. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required.
