Psychiatrist Medical Director

Position Summary:

Responsible for conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, developing treatment plans, providing medication management, and overseeing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) services for eligible patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments. Diagnose mental health and behavioral disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications as appropriate. Determine patient eligibility for TMS therapy. Provide clinical oversight and supervision of TMS treatments. Monitor patient response to TMS and adjust treatment plans as needed. Complete and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Collaborate with therapists, APRNs, and other members of the treatment team. Participate in quality improvement and compliance activities.

Requirements:

MD or DO degree with specialization in Psychiatry. Active and unrestricted Florida medical license. Current DEA registration. Experience in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and TMS therapy preferred. Knowledge of evidence-based treatment for depression and other psychiatric disorders. Strong communication and clinical assessment skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required - Spanish is a must.
