This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to shape organizational strategy, oversee daily operations, and deliver high-quality mental health and trauma informed therapy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a passion for client-centered care, and extensive experience in clinical therapy across diverse populations, including children, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those requiring crisis intervention. Duties Provide comprehensive mental health counseling, including individual, group, child & family therapy utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy with an extensive focus on grief, loss and trauma. Lead organizational initiatives by developing strategic plans, managing staff teams, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards including HIPAA and medical documentation protocols. Conduct diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to each client's needs. Oversee intake processes for new clients, ensuring thorough case management and coordination of care across home, community, and clinical settings. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies, crisis management protocols, and emergency response coordination. Supervise clinical staff in delivering evidence-based therapies such as motivational interviewing, addiction counseling, social work interventions, and behavior management techniques. Maintain accurate EHR medical records ensuring documentation aligns with HIPAA regulations and supports billing processes including CPT coding. Foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes continuous professional development. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related mental health field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as required by state law (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC). Extensive experience in behavioral health settings with proficiency in trauma-informed care, crisis management, and diagnostic evaluation. Demonstrated expertise in therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR or ART, motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy techniques. Proven leadership skills with experience managing clinical teams or organizational operations within a healthcare or community-based environment. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and ICD coding standards. Ability to work effectively with children, individuals with autism or disabilities, and diverse populations requiring specialized support services. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients' families, community partners, and stakeholders.
