care Full Job Description We are seeking a compassionate, culturally competent HIV Provider to join a highly respected outpatient clinic . Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to providing stigma-free, trauma-informed care to diverse patient populations, with a strong focus on sexual health, HIV/AIDS management, and LGBTQ+ inclusive services.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Care:
Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to a diverse panel of patients, with a specialized focus on the management of
HIV/AIDS. HIV
Management:
Initiate and modify antiretroviral therapy (ART), monitor immunological/viral status, and diagnose/treat opportunistic infections and related conditions.
Preventive & Specialized Services:
Prescribe and manage PrEP and PEP therapies; provide robust sexual health screenings and gender-affirming hormone therapy.
Patient Education:
Counsel patients on treatment adherence, risk reduction, U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable), and overall wellness.
Collaboration:
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, medical case managers, and mental health professionals to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate, timely, and strictly confidential patient records in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
Qualifications & Experience Education:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Licensure:
Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Florida.
Certification:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Infectious Disease.
Specialty Knowledge:
Strong experience diagnosing and treating
HIV/AIDS
in an outpatient setting. AAHIVM certification (or willingness to obtain ) is highly preferred.
Cultural Competency:
Commitment to providing sex-positive, harm-reduction, and trauma-informed care.
Schedule & Compensation Schedule:
Full-time, strictly outpatient. No nights or weekends.
