We are going into our 20th year providing quality services to clients in the community and are fully accredited by CARF. Our agency is currently developing a school-based program to service students in Winder, Ga and surrounding counties. Summary The Program Director provides overall leadership, strategic oversight, and operational management of the school-based mental health program. The Program Director serves as the primary point of contact with district leadership and is responsible for ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with contract requirements, agency policies, evidence-based practices, and applicable regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide executive oversight of all school-based mental health services.
  • Serve as primary liaison to district leadership and designated school representatives.
  • Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and program outcomes.
  • Oversee staffing, recruitment, retention, and workforce planning.
  • Ensure adequate clinical coverage across participating schools.
  • Review program performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate crisis response planning and support high-risk situations.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, ethical standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Director, School-Based Program Coordinator, and Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Prepare and present program reports to district leadership.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field required.
  • Fully licensed mental health professional preferred.
  • Minimum five years of leadership experience in behavioral health services.
  • Experience managing large-scale community-based or school-based programs. Required Documentation from Candidates selected for this position:
