Responsibilities Responsible for providing senior Biomedical leadership for multiple Piedmont entities. Will be responsible for upholding departmental metrics established and maintain regulatory compliance readiness. Will oversee projects related to clinical equipment and develop the customer service relationship. Will maintain and manage all communication within the C-suite of multiple hospitals as assigned. Site managers for each facility will report up to this role. What you will do Provide overall senior biomed leadership to the teams assigned. Develops goals and mentors staff. Monitors that department and healthcare policies, procedures and standard operating procedures (SOP's) are being followed. Maintains regulatory compliance readiness. Establishes and maintains the biomedical services customer business relationship. Provide updates and consultative discussions with local senior leadership (C-Suite). Escalates service issues as appropriate. Provide guidance and oversite to projects. Assist with staffing needs among the assigned entities. Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) within the assigned area. Works with Executive Director on monitoring operations budget and assist in preparing annual budget. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business/Management, or related field. Required or In Lieu of degree six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement Required Work Experience 7 years of work experience in biomedical engineering, technical equipment operations, or a closely related field to include leadership experience. Required or In lieu of degree 13 years of work experience in biomedical engineering, technical equipment operations or a closely related field to include leadership experience.
