Job Description

A mission-driven behavioral health organization is seeking a PMHNP to serve in a blended clinical and leadership role supporting children, youth, and families. This position offers the opportunity to shape programs and expand access to care across the Des Moines, Iowa region.
Position Overview:
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on care planning and crisis support while leading clinical strategy, program development, and service innovation for a growing nonprofit organization in Iowa. Act as part of the executive team to design and implement evidence-based, trauma-informed care models primarily for adolescent patients Provide consultation, mentorship, and guidance to clinical teams Position includes about 15% direct patient care providing medication management and clinical understanding Excellent work/life balance with up to 5 weeks' vacation Starting salary of $150K-$175K (negotiable)
Qualifications:
Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/PMHNP 5+ years clinical experience preferred with 3+ years leadership or program development and prior management of direct reports Experience with youth, families, or high-risk populations preferred Strong clinical judgment, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills
