Job Description
Job Summary:
The Clinic Director is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of a multi-specialty clinic system. This role ensures high-quality patient care, Rural Health Clinic regulatory compliance, efficient operations, and alignment with organizational goals. The Clinic Director collaborates with support staff, NPP's and physicians, along with administrative leadership to optimize clinical performance, patient experience, and business outcomes across multiple service lines.Key Responsibilities:
Leadership Provide overall leadership and direction for clinic operations across multiple specialties Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, service expansion, and operational excellence Partner with executive leadership to align clinic goals with organizational mission and long-term strategy Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Operations Management Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality standards Monitor patient flow, scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize access and minimize wait times Implement best practices and process improvements across specialties Ensure consistent policies and procedures across all clinic locations Financial Oversight Develop and oversee staffing strategies to allocate resources appropriately Assists in monitoring revenue cycle performance and being a part of the improvement team to maximize billing, coding, and collections Identify opportunities to improve profitability while maintaining high-quality care Clinical Quality & Compliance Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards Partner with clinical leadership to monitor quality metrics and patient outcomes Lead initiatives to improve patient safety, satisfaction, and care quality Maintain readiness for Rural Health Clinic surveys Staff Management & Development Recruit, hire, and retain high-performing clinical and administrative staff Provide coaching, performance management, and professional development opportunities Promote staff engagement and a positive workplace culture Collaborate with physician leaders to support provider satisfaction Patient Experience Champion a patient-centered approach across all specialties Monitor patient satisfaction data and implement improvements Address patient concerns and ensure service recovery processes are effective Collaboration & Communication Serve as a liaison between patients, staff, and executive leadership Facilitate communication across departments and specialties Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred) Current MGMA ACMPE/FACMPE or willingness to work towards certification in a timely manner 5 years of progressive leadership experience, in healthcare operations preferred Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsPosted:
