Job Description:
The Director provides leadership, coordination, strategic planning, and oversight for all mental health services at the center, including the appropriate and timely direct services provided to students. In addition, the Director oversees personnel selection and evaluation, program planning and evaluation, and budget planning and resource management within the Counseling Center. The Director and members of the Counseling Center staff set and carry out annual goals and objectives, continuously assessing, monitoring, and improving service offerings in response to the changing needs of students and the University.
Job Requirements:
Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or related field (PhD/PsyD), or a master's degree with independent licensure and extensive supervisory credentials Independent clinical licensure in Kentucky (LP, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) or eligibility within 6 months At least 3 years of experience in the areas of administration, organization, and development of counseling and mental health services and programs in a university setting is strongly desired, including specific experiences in assessment, quality improvement, performance appraisal and evaluation, and use of data to inform decision making. At least 3 years of leadership experience within clinical settings At least 3 years of post licensure clinical experience, including supervision At least 3 years of experience supporting young adults through a range of developmental, emotional, and academic challenges At least 3 years of strong crisis management experience At least 2 years of experience with tele-mental health, and familiarity with diverse student populations

Salary Range:
