Program Director Opportunity in Baton Rouge, LA You've built clinical credibility, now step into a leadership role where your decisions shape the next generation of OB/GYN physicians. This OB/GYN Program Director position blends academic oversight with meaningful clinical practice in a high-volume women's health setting. Practice Overview You'll lead a 4-year OB/GYN residency program with 16 residents (4 per class) and strong board outcomes Split focus: approximately 50% program leadership and 50% clinical oversight (L&D, OR, resident clinic) Full spectrum subspecialty support available on-site (MFM, Gyn Onc, Urogynecology, REI) Busy, well-supported clinical environment with approximately 80-100 births per month Schedule Clinic schedule designed to protect leadership time: Mon-Thu 8:00a-4:00p; Fri 8:00a-12:00p You'll oversee clinical rotations and resident call schedules, with faculty supervision aligned to ACGME expectations Blend of OR, L&D coverage, and resident clinic time, structured but with practical flexibility Future option to incorporate a private practice component if desired Compensation & Benefits Base salary determined by training/experience, plus a Program Director administrative stipend Additional earning potential through productivity and clinical performance Relocation assistance provided Robust benefits: medical/dental/vision options, employer-supported retirement plans (plus 403(b)/457(b)), 14 paid holidays, accrued vacation/sick time, life/disability coverage, and discounted on-site childcare access Candidate Requirements OB/GYN physician with the experience and leadership presence to serve as Residency Program Director Comfort leading ACGME accreditation compliance, curriculum development, and Clinical Competency Committee processes Ability to recruit and engage faculty while supporting resident wellness, performance, and professional growth Strong clinical skills across L&D, OR, and ambulatory women's health with an interest in teaching Community & Location Highlights Baton Rouge offers a metro feel with easy access to outdoor recreation, food culture, and major events Wide range of housing options and neighborhoods to match your preferred commute and lifestyle Convenient regional travel with access to nearby airports for quick getaways and professional meetings Family-friendly amenities, including schools, parks, and year-round activities Connect with us to learn more about this opportunity and what makes this position unique!
