Aphios Corporation, a clinical-stage platform biotechnology company advancing innovative technology platforms and next-generation therapeutics, is seeking a distinguished physician leader to serve as a Board-Level Clinical Advisor / Consulting Chief Medical Officer. This role is intended for a senior biotech or pharmaceutical clinical executive interested in providing strategic clinical and regulatory guidance to a growing biotechnology company developing novel therapies addressing major unmet medical needs. Aphios is advancing programs across several important therapeutic areas including: Neurodegenerative diseases Infectious diseases (including HIV) Oncology and supportive care Substance-use disorder Role Overview The Clinical Advisor / Consulting CMO will work closely with the CEO, Board, and scientific leadership to guide clinical strategy as programs advance toward IND submission and early-stage clinical development. The role focuses on strategic oversight and mentorship, rather than day-to-day operational management. Responsibilities may include: Advising on clinical development strategy and trial design Providing guidance on IND preparation and regulatory interactions Helping translate innovative preclinical discoveries into clinically actionable programs Advising on safety strategy and therapeutic positioning Supporting scientific credibility in investor and strategic partnership discussions Contributing to the development of a long-term clinical and regulatory roadmap Ideal Candidate The company seeks a highly experienced physician-scientist with: MD or MD/PhD with strong academic or industry credentials Significant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical clinical development Prior service as Chief Medical Officer, VP Clinical Development, or senior clinical leader Demonstrated experience guiding IND-stage or early clinical programs Strong understanding of FDA regulatory pathways and clinical trial design Interest in contributing strategic expertise to an innovative clinical-stage biotechnology company Engagement Structure Consulting / Part-Time / Advisory Role Flexible engagement appropriate for senior physician leaders Opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the development of innovative therapeutic platforms To Apply Interested candidates or referrals may submit materials referencing
