Hiring Range:
$180,000 - $220,000 Please note that the final offer may vary within this range based on a candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

Academic Newborn Hospitalist Schedule:
Full-Time UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a dedicated and compassionate Academic Newborn Hospitalist to join our growing team. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region. Key Highlights Provide comprehensive medical care for infants in a 22-bed Continuing Care Nursery (CCN) within a 49-bed Level
III NICU
at UMass Memorial Medical Center, as well as a 28-bed postpartum unit and 12-bed Level 1B Special Care Nursery at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham, MA. Attend high-risk deliveries as part of a multidisciplinary team with neonatology support and collaboration. Perform neonatal procedures including intubation, central line placement, lumbar puncture, and thoracentesis. Conduct inpatient antenatal consultations addressing prematurity, neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome (NOWS), and maternal medical conditions impacting neonatal care. Provide bedside teaching and mentorship to medical trainees including medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers.
Qualifications:
