  • MaineHealth Franklin Hospital (Farmington, ME) MaineHealth Franklin Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology physician, to join our dedicated team in beautiful Farmington, Maine as the Associate Medical Director (AMD).
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a community practice committed to delivering exceptional care while maintaining strong work-life balance. The successful candidate will join a well-established practice of 4 physicians and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife. This is a full-scope OB/GYN practice, offering a mix of office, OR and obstetrics, withopportunityforanareaoffocused-practice. This position benefits from an academic affiliation with Maine Medical Center andTufts University School of Medicine,providingthe opportunity to teach both residents and medical students. Call isshared, with1:4 weekend call. As a Level 1 Maternal Center, and the only inpatient facility in Franklin County, this rural practice serves its local community, with the comprehensive support of a state-wide health system. Franklin Hospital delivers approximately 250 babies annually. Join us and you will find supportive, collaborative colleagues; strong patient/provider relationships with deep roots in the local community; comprehensive resources and advanced technologies, including fully integrated Epic EMR with access to supportive subspecialists in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology and Urogynecology.

.9 FTE Clinical/.1 FTE Administration This role offers: Medical direction model: Collaborate with 4 physicians and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife. daily to manage site of service, plus call responsibilities. Strong patient-provider relationships within a community-focused health system. Community-focused practice serving a close-knit rural population. Opportunity to grow and develop teaching and research experiences and work with both residents and medical students. Academic affiliation with Maine Medical Center and Tufts University School of Medicine Collegial environment with experienced providers and outstanding support staff. Qualifications:
MD/DO from an accredited medical school. Completion of OB/GYN Residency program. ABOGBoard Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
