Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Crisis Program Manager to lead our crisis team supporting individuals facing mental health challenges. This leader ensures high-quality clinical care, manages staff, reviews referrals and maintains regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Program Oversight :
Direct daily operations of crisis program, providing and overseeing groups, individualized treatment plans, etc. Handles referrals to the program in coordination with clinical therapists and psychiatrists.
Staff Leadership :
Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule clinical and support staff.
Clinical Supervision :
Provide guidance on complex cases, risk assessments, and de-escalation pathways.
Quality Assurance :
Audit clinical documentation to meet state, federal, and CMH guidelines.
Community Relations:
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community mental health agencies, hospitals, law enforcement, schools, and other referral partners to support continuity of care and coordinated crisis response.
Data Tracking :
Assists the Director with monitoring program metrics, utilization rates, and contract outcomes for monthly reporting.
Required Qualifications Education :
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; OR a Bachelor/Master of Science in Nursing (RN). Management experience desired.
Licensure :
Active, unrestricted state license (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or RN).
Experience :
Minimum of 2 years in crisis intervention, psychiatric triage, or emergency mental health. Desired Skills Expert knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria. Strong command of mental health code, recipient rights, and
LARA AFC
compliance. Exceptional verbal de-escalation and conflict resolution skills.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
