Overview A leading, large-scale academic health system in the Detroit, MI region is seeking an accomplished Division Head - Hematology/Oncology & Associate Medical Director, Cancer Service Line . This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to drive clinical excellence, research innovation, and strategic growth across a multi-hospital cancer program.

Full-Time, Permanent Position Highlights Executive leadership role within a major integrated academic health system Oversight of a large, multi-site oncology network (multiple hospitals and ambulatory locations) Leadership of 40+ Hematology/Oncology physicians Strategic responsibility for $1B+ in annual patient revenue Balanced role with ~25% clinical practice INDITP Key Responsibilities Provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for the Hematology/Oncology division Serve as Associate Medical Director guiding system-wide cancer service strategy Lead clinical, academic, and research initiatives across oncology programs Oversee expansion and integration of oncology services across the region Direct bone marrow transplant, infusion, and oncology programs Drive clinical trials, precision medicine, and population health initiatives Mentor faculty and support academic and research development Foster multidisciplinary collaboration across departments Support graduate medical education and fellowship programs Implement innovative care delivery models in oncology Requirements Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain) Proven leadership experience in an academic or large health system setting Strong background in clinical care, research, and academic medicine
