Associate Chief Clinical Officer•Troy Medical Campus Michigan Medicine / University of Michigan Health Troy, Michigan Michigan Medicine seeks a dynamic, distinguished executive to serve as the inaugural Associate Chief Clinical Officer for the new Troy Medical Campus (opening 2027). This role provides overarching clinical leadership across all Troy Medical Campus facilities, including the Frances and Kenneth Eisenberg Troy Center for Specialty Care, the Samuel and Jean Frankel Cardiovascular Center, and the Sidney and Madeline Forbes Advanced Imaging Center, ensuring alignment with Michigan Medicine's mission while driving execution of a high-throughput, community-focused care model. The ACCO will Champion the Troy Medical Campus as a distinct, community-integrated care model with limited learners, community-based productivity standards, and rapid patient access as defining features. The Opportunity This is a high-impact executive leadership opportunity, and the Associate Chief Clinical Officer (ACCO) will be a clinical thought leader and operational partner committed to building an innovative care model that prioritizes rapid patient access, high efficiency, and deep integration with the Oakland County community and surrounding areas. Reporting to the Chief Clinical Executive at University of Michigan Medical Group, this individual will work in partnership with the campus
ACOO/ACNO
to create and sustain a culture of responsiveness, accountability, and excellence at the Troy Medical Campus. The ACCO will provide physician oversight and direction to an initial seven medical directors in the areas of: oncology, MSK, sports medicine, Center for Reproductive Medicine, cardiovascular services, radiology, surgery and anesthesia; and will partner closely with relevant Department Chairs, Division Chiefs, and Clinical Physician Leaders to ensure the Troy Medical Campus faculty are well-supported, clinically engaged, and operationally successful. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking physician executive who demonstrates a strong commitment to clinical excellence and efficient care delivery, while remaining attentive to the needs of both patients and providers. Successful candidates will have experience in a fast-paced and complex health care environment and demonstrated success leading by influence in a matrix environment. Qualifications include MD, DO, MD/PhD, or equivalent; board certification in a relevant adult specialty (this is an adult-focused, non-pediatric campus), and active clinical practice must align with the specialties offered at the Troy Medical Campus. The Organization The new ambulatory care medical campus in Troy, MI will include advanced adult specialty care programs and integrated diagnostic and procedural services in a state-of-the-art setting. The Troy Medical Campus is part of 40-acre mixed used development located in the second largest County in Michigan. The University of Michigan is one of the nation's premiere universities and home to Michigan Medicine, including the Academic Medical School enterprise in Ann Arbor and new Regional Health System currently comprised of UMH-Sparrow Health and UMH-West. Collectively, the health system encompasses 11 hospitals, 5,700 providers, and $7.8B in net revenue. The Region Troy is known as a premier upscale suburban hub in Oakland County, about 15 miles north of downtown Detroit, offering a #1 safety rating, robust business community, highly rated schools and luxury shopping. Ann Arbor is easily accessible from Troy by car or train. The Amtrak Wolverine line runs between Troy and Ann Arbor multiple times a day and the line also provides convenient access to Chicago and Detroit.
