Compass of Hope is looking to add on another dedicated, insightful and engaged CMHC, MSW or MFT students to learn with us! If you're ready to dive into an internship experience with a wealth of knowledge from a clinical supervisor team and jump into hands on experience with direct client work we welcome you to apply! As an intern with Compass of Hope you will get experience with: Participate in specialized training on evidence-based treatment modalities, including hands-on intervention practice and real-world application to prepare for clinical sessions.

Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.

Develop, facilitate, and co-lead therapeutic groups for both children and adults in a variety of clinical settings.

Gain experience assessing and managing client safety concerns, including risk assessment, crisis intervention, and consultation with clinical supervisors.

Learn best practices for clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments, while understanding how accurate documentation supports quality care, ethical practice, and legal protection.

Develop an understanding of the administrative aspects of behavioral health practice and how effective administrative processes enhance clinical outcomes and continuity of care.

Receive weekly individual and group supervision and mentorship to strengthen clinical skills, professional development, and ethical decision-making.

Build confidence in case conceptualization, treatment planning, and the implementation of evidence-based interventions across diverse client populations. We take pride in ensuring interns are ready for the pre-licensure stage of their career by the end of their learning experience with us!
