Key responsibilities include:
Deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care. Diagnose and manage a wide variety of medical conditions, including complex cases. Mentor and support associate veterinarians. Lead regular hospital rounds, case discussions, and team training sessions. Collaborate with client service, technician, and veterinary assistant teams. Help maintain high standards of patient care, communication, and operational efficiency. Foster a positive and engaged hospital culture. A dedicated support structure allows veterinarians to focus on clinical care, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, and leadership while minimizing administrative distractions. Work-Life Balance The hospital is committed to protecting veterinarian wellbeing through a schedule designed for sustainability and flexibility: Four-day work week Monday through Friday schedule No weekends Consistent three-day weekends Dedicated leadership and training time built into the schedule Strong support systems that help maintain on-time departures Ideal Candidate Experienced veterinarian with strong diagnostic and clinical skills. Natural mentor who enjoys teaching and developing colleagues. Exceptional communicator who builds trust with clients and team members. Comfortable managing complex medical cases and emergency presentations. Leadership-oriented with an understanding of hospital operations and team development. Surgical experience welcomed but not required. Interest or experience in avian and exotic medicine is a plus. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution. Eligibility for veterinary licensure in New Hampshire. Minimum of seven years of clinical veterinary experience. DEA license and USDA accreditation preferred but not required.
