Position Summary We are seeking a leader in project and portfolio management, strategic planning and operational excellence to partner with our cross functional Early Differentiation and Pipeline Strategy (EDAPS) leadership and our Portfolio Alliances & Strategy (PAS) team. The PM lead will partner with key stakeholders to drive the execution of key portfolio priorities in both the EDAPS and PAS teams. In the EDAPS space, we have a thriving portfolio spanning 20+ assets and the lead will work with the Medical Product Leads (MPL) for those assets enabling partnership with R D, building out a lighter version of the Global Medical Plan based on where the asset is and facilitating the prioritization across the portfolio. Within the PAS team, the PM lead will partner to manage the integrated budget, and strategic initiatives that span establishing and scaling these enterprise priorities. This role reports to the Head of Strategy and Operations, Oncology/Hematology and will be a key leader in the overall S&O organization. He/ she will facilitate the AIMS (Asset/Indication Medical Strategy team) for the early development pipeline and ensure alignment with matrix stakeholders in Medical, Commercial, R D and Global markets. The PM leader will bring a good balance of strategic and operational skills, translating portfolio strategy into actionable plans, timelines and deliverables. The individual will have oversight and accountability on all budget activities across their assigned portfolio and will partner with the respective leadership for prioritization and tradeoffs. The role will also advise the Head of Strat and Ops for integrated planning and tradeoffs across the Onc/Hem portfolio and support the transition of assets from Early development into our Disease areas. We are seeking a highly strategic leader with a proven track record of operational excellence who can scale to the breadth of the portfolio and also dive in when needed for specific areas within their remit. This individual will serve as a demonstrated leader, bringing both the experience and influence needed to work across internal and external partners to design and implement effective project management approaches. The role requires a strong ability to operate in a complex, matrixed environment, driving alignment, accountability, and consistent execution across stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Partner with EDAPS Leaders to translate AIMS strategy into integrated portfolio plans, including milestones, deliverables, and dependencies for priority assets Drive prioritization across assets and indications, balancing competing timelines, resources, and business needs Ensure portfolio execution is aligned to AIMS goals, Medical strategy, and organizational priorities Monitor progress and proactively address risks, gaps, and shifting priorities Act as a central connector across Medical, Early Clinical Development, Commercial, and external partners Partner closely with the PAS team and help manage key strategic initiatives and oversee Alliance budgets Build and maintain strong relationships to drive alignment on Medical objectives and priorities through key initiatives such as SPARC engagements in Early development, strategic framing of ED alliances Implement structured approaches for planning, tracking, reporting, and documentation across initiatives Enable effective leadership engagement and governance by preparing clear, decision-ready materials (e.g., LT meetings, QBRs, exchange forums) Provide ongoing visibility into portfolio progress, risks, and resource considerations Partner with Finance to support budget planning, forecasting, and performance tracking, including facilitating key discussions with MPL Support strategic planning activities, including scenario planning and prioritization exercises Contribute to broader S&O and departmental initiatives (e.g., offsites, team engagements, communications) Influence without authority to drive alignment, accountability, and execution discipline Model strong leadership behaviors, including structured thinking, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication Help elevate project management capabilities and best practices across the organization The ideal candidate will embody BMS's cultural pillars:

Ensures that every decision and strategy is grounded in improving outcomes for patients. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Physical sciences or relevant discipline, advanced degrees preferred (MSc, PharmD, MBA)
Experience Requirements:
10+years of experience in pharmaceutical research, development, medical affairs or commercialization with a focus on cross functional project management and or strategy/operations Oncology/Hematology experience strongly preferred and R D experience desired Highly organized and motivated individual with the ability to work independently/effectively with cross functional teams. This position requires a solid understanding of drug development and Medical Affairs organization Experience in project/program management of complex projects involving cross-functional, multi-site, international teams. Strong written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact directly and productively with team members and management and to manage and prioritize multiple competing priorities is also required. Ability to engage in complex scientific discussions to develop /summarize clear follow-up/action plans and execute. Strong experience with building relationships, leading strategic initiatives and programs, and collaborating across divisions with people of diverse business backgrounds and cultures. Comfort with ambiguity, driving change and innovation across the team.
