Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, licensed physician to serve as Regional Medical Director based in Brooklyn, NY. This role combines clinical practice with leadership: you will provide direct patient care as needed and spend the majority of your time developing clinical teams, improving operations, and advancing quality across multiple treatment sites in the NYC area.
Compensation:
$275,000-$315,000 plus bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Care:
Provide high-quality patient care to support clinical operations as required.
Site Leadership & Development:
Spend 3-4 days per week onsite mentoring clinicians, strengthening team performance, and standardizing best practices across sites.
Medical Operations & Compliance:
Oversee medical operations to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to clinical standards.
Collaboration:
Partner with administrative and interdisciplinary teams to optimize clinic workflows, patient experience, and care coordination.
Education & Training:
Design and implement training programs to elevate clinical skills and clinical competency among staff.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor, evaluate, and refine clinical practices and outcomes to maintain the highest standards of care.
Care Management & Value-Based Initiatives:
Lead utilization management efforts and support value-based care strategies to improve outcomes and resource use.
Strategic Growth & Integration:
Support practice growth, provider recruitment and onboarding, and integration of primary care services and clinical programs across the organization. Minimum Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty. Active New York State medical license; DEA registration; Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment. Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting, including oversight of multiple providers, clinical sites, or interdisciplinary teams. Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated commitment to mentoring clinical staff. Preferred Experience with practice development, clinical expansion, and value-based care program implementation.
