Summer Camp Medical Director Elmsford Summer Day Camp Elmsford, NY Job Details Temporary $3,000 - $5,000 a month 19 hours ago Qualifications RN License EMT Certification Team leadership Program development Safety regulations LPN Clinical team leadership Camp Full Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Medical Director to oversee the medical needs of our summer camp program. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for helping to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for campers. The Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of camp medical operations, including file management, assistant staff management, program development, treatment of injuries, following of board of health protocols, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with health and safety standards to provide a secure environment for all participants. Communicate effectively with parents, campers, and staff regarding medical concerns and incidents, along with camp policies, schedules, and any concerns. Monitor camper illness or injuries and address any issues in a timely manner to maintain a positive camp atmosphere. Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback and assessments to continually improve the camp experience. Requirements Must be a certified EMT, Paramedic, LPN, RN or NP. Proven leadership experience in a camp or educational setting. Strong knowledge of standards related to safety and health regulations in recreational environments. Experience in managed care or medical management is beneficial for addressing health-related concerns during camp sessions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of people. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in decision-making.
Pay:
$3,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
