Open Chair Position:

Long Island Jewish Forest Hills As Emergency Medicine Chair, you'll have complete administrative, operational and clinical oversight of the department. You'll collaborate with our large service line leadership team in efforts such as recruiting, finance, business development, and more. You'll also have the incredible opportunity to work with other healthcare professionals within Northwell Health's network, helping you to gain a perspective that helps you and our emergency department better serve the communities that trust us as their healthcare leaders. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mentoring, succeeding in dyadic leadership formats, and creating followership in a facility union environment. As the hospital is located in the most diverse county in the nation, an ideal candidate would have familiarity with the borough of Queens and the flexibility and cultural-competence to build community relationships with people from all backgrounds. The ideal candidate would also be conversant with leading through construction projects, ED design principles, change management, and strategic vision to promote continued ED growth.
