Trinity Health Overview:
St. Joseph's Health is seeking an experienced Medical Director of Hospital Medicine to lead inpatient services and drive quality care initiatives in a community-focused hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the hospitalist team (full-time, day shift) Oversee inpatient care delivery, quality, and performance metrics Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols Support recruitment, training, and retention of staff Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, ~40-50 hours/week No weekends or on-call
Requirements:
Board Certified / Board Eligible (within 2 years) in Internal or Family Medicine Active NY license or willingness to obtain Minimum 2+ years leadership experience (acute care required) Clean malpractice and license history
ACLS, BLS, DEA
(PALS preferred) Must not require visa sponsorship
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary:
$325,000-$350,000 Full benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability)
PTO + CME
Allowance Retirement plan + FSA PSLF eligible employer
