Contract Schedule:
Flexible | 2-5 hours per week We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as our Part-Time Medical Director for a growing behavioral health and substance use treatment facility in Ohio. This is a low-hour, high-impact leadership role ideal for a psychiatrist looking for flexible supplemental work. This position provides clinical oversight for detox, residential, and outpatient (IOP) services , ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and support for our clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medical and psychiatric oversight for patients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders Review, supervise, and co-sign charts in accordance with Wisconsin regulations Support detox and residential programming from a medical perspective Collaborate with Clinical Director, nursing staff, and therapists Ensure compliance with DHS, Joint Commission (if applicable), and state guidelines Be available for limited consultation and case review
Qualifications:
MD or DO with Board Certification in Psychiatry Active Ohio Medical License (or ability to obtain quickly) DEA license required Experience in addiction psychiatry, detox, or residential treatment strongly preferred Prior Medical Director or leadership experience is a plus
